Discovering Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobites

The story of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) and the Jacobites is embedded in Scotland's rich and turbulent history, resonating across the centuries. This enduring fascination now has global appeal sparked by the TV adaptation of Diana Galbaldon's internationally acclaimed Outlander novels.

The Palace of Holyroodhouse has partnered with the National Trust for Scotland, National Musuem of Scotland and Historic Scotland to make it easier for groups to discover Scotland's most famous Jacobite sites.
