Loans from the Royal Collection

Current loans to exhibitions from the Royal Collection

Painting being moved by art handlers

Every year hundreds of objects, including paintings, drawings and decorative arts, are generously lent by Her Majesty The Queen from the Royal Collection to institutions across the UK and abroad. The loans programme, administered by Royal Collection Trust, enables new audiences to enjoy works of art from the Royal Collection, as well as helping us to increase our understanding of these works. Find out more about current loans from the Royal Collection here.

Loan requests must be submitted in writing at least one year in advance of the opening date of the exhibition. Requests must be made in writing to the Director of the Royal Collection.
